This weekend was a particularly good weekend for us. Having never been to Dixie Speedway before, I wasn’t exactly sure; past some advice I had gotten, what I was going to be getting into. Everything worked out pretty well for us though. We were fairly quick in hot-laps, and stayed consistently fast for qualifying having drawn 15th and going out seventh in line. The first five or six positions were pretty tight as I qualified 4th a little less than a tenth of a second off of the pole-sitter. In the first few laps, I got hung-up on the outside, and lost a few positions off the start, but found some consistency throughout the rest of the race. I came home with an 8th place finish. We were happy with that as we had never been there before. Also, again we left the track without a whole lot to fix, minus a bent panhard bar from a small encounter with the backstretch wall, nothing major though. We’re going to run a legends car Tuesday night in Charlotte, North Carolina at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. It should be some good racing, so come on out and see us!

This weekend was another good, solid weekend. The track at Bulls Gap was not in shape to practice friday night, so we just waited till the race on saturday to run the car. We were consistantly fast all through the night, however, we were still a little off-pace in qualifying. Starting twenty-third in the race, i knew that if i could stay out of trouble and be consistant i could wind up with a decent finish and a good run. I was able to do this, avoiding a couple wrecks and continuing on to a sixteenth place finish. We were also once again able to load the car and continue on to the next weekend without having many repairs. Whats up for this weekend? That would be North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, GA on friday night, and possilby Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA on saturday night. Come out and see us, hope to see you there!
Thanks, John

This past saturday night at Smokey Mountain Raceway ultimatly
turned out pretty well. What we were really needing was a good solid run
without many problems and thats what we got. The officials had told me when
i got there that the owner had been watering the track all night, so i knew
it would probably be pretty tacky and my car would be a little tight. So in
hotlaps, it was just that, a little tight from the middle off. I then
adjusted a little on the left rear of the car for qualifying. I got in two
consistant and smooth qualifying attempts, but was still a little off the
pace. This put me starting tenth in the race. The track had slowed a
little come race time, so everyone was pretty much running the same line and
speed. I ended the night with a ninth place finish. We were pretty happy
with that, seeing as we were able to load up the car and get ready for next
weekend with very little repairs. Now we're ready for a practice friday
night at Bulls Gap in Greenville, TN, and a race there saturday night as
well. We're really excited about this weekend, hope to see you there!
